Molinari earned his first NHRA Pro Mod victory in 2017 at Norwalk — a milestone moment in a career where he continued to earn the respect of competitors and fans alike. Whether in the pits, the staging lanes, or the winner’s circle, he was regarded as a fierce competitor and a loyal friend.
“Shane raced with heart,” a fellow driver said. “He loved this sport, loved the people in it, and he made you love it more just by being around him. The track won’t feel the same without him.”
