With heavy hearts, family, friends, and members of Renewed Hope House of Worship are mourning the sudden loss of Quincy Mabon, a devoted husband, father of nine, faithful minister, and gifted musician whose life was taken in a tragic accident while traveling to worship with his family.
In an instant, the Mabons’ lives were changed. The crash not only claimed Quincy’s life but left his entire family injured and in recovery, according to loved ones. As they heal physically, they are also facing the overwhelming emotional pain of losing a husband, father, and provider.
Quincy Mabon served as the primary provider for his household and as a minister at Renewed Hope House of Worship. Those who knew him described a man who faithfully served the Body of Christ, encouraged countless people through his ministry and music, and touched lives through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.
“Whether through his music, his ministry, or simply his presence, Quincy made a lasting impact on everyone he met,” the family shared. “He was always willing to help others.”
He leaves behind his wife and nine children, who now face an uncertain future without the man who cared for and provided for them. His absence has created a tremendous financial burden as the family deals with medical, funeral, and daily living expenses.
Church leaders said the Renewed Hope House of Worship community is rallying around the family. Supporters have organized a fund to help with funeral and burial costs, assist with the family’s recovery, and meet immediate needs.
“Any donation—large or small—will help provide hope, relief, and support when it is needed most,” the family said. They also ask the public to keep the family in prayer and share their story.
Details about the crash, including date and location, were not immediately released. Law enforcement has not provided an official report.
Information regarding services for Quincy Mabon will be shared by Renewed Hope House of Worship and the family when available.
