MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Family members have identified the victim in a deadly motorcycle crash on Sunday as Donnetta “Nettie” Flowers, known lovingly as “Short Stuff.”
The crash happened around 10 a.m. Sunday at the Marquette Interchange, on the ramp from I-94 East to I-43 North, according to preliminary reports.
Flowers was pronounced dead at the scene. She was remembered by family and friends as kind-hearted, spirited, and devoted to the people she loved.
“Nettie was the kind of person who lit up every room,” a family member said. “She called herself ‘Short Stuff,’ but she had the biggest heart. We’re absolutely broken.”
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances of the crash. Officials have not released additional details about what led to the incident. The ramp was closed for several hours Sunday morning as crews responded and investigators worked the scene.
Tributes to “Short Stuff” began appearing online Sunday afternoon, with riders and community members sharing photos and memories. Many described her as a fixture in the local riding community and a friend to everyone she met.
